These two paintings are now at the Juan De Fuca Centre. "Overlooking" is one of my favourite spots on the Dallas waterfront and "Beyond the Shadow" is a composite painting  from places in the Fraser Valley.

 Now I'm off to Tofino with friends, to do some storm watching!

Two days of sorting old letters, pictures and kids mementos and the job is still not finished.

It doesn't take a lot of snow to snarl traffic in this city, you might notice a light dusting on the tree. 

I took this picture while inching along to work this morning. 

I'm hoping for a snow day tomorrow!

Happy New Year!

It was nice to have few days off after Christmas. My time was spent working on a huge oil painting,running to the art store to buy lino to make prints and then over to the craft store for wool to make a scarf.  I realize I am a bit of a "scanner" when it comes to creating art. I love to trying new things, and sometimes have trouble finishing projects:).

The above acrylic painting was started and finished today..
